Our Executive Director has launched a new podcast, ‘Rise Up’ on Friday in which she interviewed nationally-renowned Law Professor, Mark Osler. Professor Osler is a legal scholar and former prosecutor who recently chaired a prominent panel of national legal experts to review the case of Myon Burrell. The legal panel issued their report last week, along with a recommendation that Myon Burrell be immediately released from prison. This was a powerful discussion.Myon’s hearing before the Pardon Board takes place tomorrow, Tuesday, December 15th. His freedom from prison is now in the hands of Gov. Walz and AG Ellison.
